L.C.S has its roots firmly on the ground having originated from an agricultural service of hay and straw merchants run then as it is now by present owner Lincoln Stott. Building on customer care and an expertise in lifting diversification into specialist crane work took place in 1999. Based originally at Holme-on-Spalding Moor the business snowballed from one 11 tonne rigid vehicle with a demountable crane to four wagons two articulated and two rigid wagons with demountable cranes by 2005. Employing three full time and two part time drivers a transport manager and accounts clerk. Due to pressure on space it was necessary to move to the current purpose built premises at North Duffield in 2004. |
